About the Role
You'll provide care on a busy telemetry unit managing a large cardiac patient population. This role includes floating to med/tele and rehab units across the facility, so flexibility and strong teamwork are essential.
Unit Overview
The facility operates dedicated telemetry and progressive care units with a cardiac focus. You'll work in a collaborative environment that values compassionate patient care and continuous learning. The unit serves patients with both acute and chronic conditions, offering excellent exposure to varied medical presentations.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of current telemetry hospital experience
- BLS and ACLS certification (current)
- Willingness to float to different units
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced telemetry experience
- Chemotherapy certification (expands scheduling opportunities)
What You'll Do
- Monitor and assess cardiac patients on telemetry
- Perform procedures and interventions consistent with telemetry nursing scope
- Float to med/tele and rehab units as needed
- Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members
- Contribute to a supportive, family-oriented unit culture
