Med Surg
Neuro / Med-Surg RN — Day Shift | Atlanta, GA
This role is ideal for a strong, experienced Registered Nurse with a solid neurology background who can also confidently manage medical-surgical and step-down level patients.
Shift & Schedule
- Days, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), three days per week
- No block scheduling; weekend availability required
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 89 weeks
Unit & Patient Population
The unit manages neurological patients alongside medical-surgical and step-down acuity cases. Nurses must be comfortable transitioning between patient populations and managing varying acuity levels within the same assignment.
Required Certifications & Qualifications
- NIHSS certification — must be documented in your candidate profile to be considered
- ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in neurology
- Step-down or med-surg experience strongly preferred
