OR Circulator / Scrub Nurse — Surgical Services

Windsor, VT | Days | 13-Week Contract

This OR Circulator role supports a community-based surgical services department performing outpatient and limited inpatient procedures across multiple service lines, including general surgery, urology, ophthalmology, podiatry, pain management, and endoscopy. The patient population is adult and geriatric (ages 16+).

Schedule & Hours

• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, four 8-hour days per week
• 32-hour weekly guarantee

Required Qualifications

• Cataract surgical experience — non-negotiable
• 2–5 years of OR experience (minimum)
• Proficiency in both scrubbing and circulating roles
• Phase I / PACU experience
• Experience in a smaller OR setting
• BLS and ACLS (AHA) required
• Vermont RN license required
• BSN preferred; travel experience highly preferred

On-Call Expectations

• Weekday call: 2–3 days per week; 1-hour callback
• Weekend call: approximately 1 weekend per month; 1-hour callback

Additional Details

• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Candidates must have personal transportation — no public transit is available in this area
• Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
• All RTO (maximum 5 days) must be submitted at the time of application; requests after offer will not be approved
• Availability required during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's holiday blocks
• Start date: December 7, 2026
