Registered Nurse – OB/GYN
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the OB/GYN unit. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practice and clinical judgment. You'll also mentor and direct support staff including LPNs, PCTs, and Unit Secretaries.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour rotating shifts (3P–3A and 3A–3P)
- Every 3rd weekend
- Flexible scheduling; schedule requests are negotiable
- No holiday PTO available
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
Contract Details
- 13 weeks
- Start date: November 24, 2026
- Orientation dates available: 11/24, 12/10, or 12/22
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio or Compact State RN License
- Minimum 2+ years of OB experience
- Completed at least one prior travel assignment
- American Heart Association BLS (current)
- American Heart Association ACLS (current)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (current)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification (current)
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification (current)
- Current skills checklist specific to OBGYN
Preferred
- Ability to function as first assist and scrub OB
This role requires flexibility and a commitment to adapting to schedule changes. Interested candidates should be prepared to demonstrate competency across the full scope of obstetric nursing care.
