Telemetry Nurse — 13-Week Contract

Location: Atlanta, GA

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)

Start Date: November 9, 2026

About the Role

Join the telemetry unit at the facility to provide continuous cardiac monitoring and acute care to patients with cardiac and other acute conditions. You'll work alongside cardiologists and an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret cardiac rhythms, identify arrhythmias, and escalate care promptly
• Administer cardiac medications, drips, and antiarrhythmics per physician orders
• Assess and respond immediately to changes in patient condition
• Perform IV insertion and PICC line placement
• Respond to rapid response and code interventions
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
• Follow infection control and fall prevention protocols

Requirements

• Active RN license (Georgia or compact license)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1+ years of telemetry experience
• Competency in EKG interpretation and cardiac rhythm monitoring
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted per facility policy

Contract Details

• 89 guaranteed hours
• Guaranteed hours and rates apply
