Respiratory Therapist – Acute Care | Bridgeport, WV

13-Week Contract | 12-Hour Nights | 36 Guaranteed Hours/Week

This travel Respiratory Therapist position is based in an acute care setting in Bridgeport, WV. The RT functions under the supervision of the cardiopulmonary director or supervisor, providing both basic and advanced cardiopulmonary care across general patient care areas.

Shift Details

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekends as scheduled
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks (91 weeks total contract period)
• Start date: November 30, 2026

Required Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license (must be licensed and registered with the state board for respiratory care)
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC
• BLS (AHA)
• Experience in acute care respiratory therapy

Additional Requirements

• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility
• A copy of a valid, unexpired driver's license is required at time of submission
• Any licensing discrepancies or hits must be disclosed upfront
• Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
• No false nails
