OR Circulator Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced OR Circulator to join the operating room team. You'll provide direct nursing care in a fast-paced surgical environment, coordinating care across multiple disciplines and ensuring smooth perioperative workflows.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- On-Call & Holidays: Must be available for call and holiday coverage as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the healthcare team
- Coordinate care across disciplines as the primary nurse liaison
- Execute physician and nursing orders with precision
- Assess and facilitate discharge planning in collaboration with team members
- Adhere to Standard Precautions and use required personal protective equipment

- Current RN license (verification required)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, stressful environment
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional references and clean background check
Credentialing
Standard onboarding requirements include health history documentation, immunizations (MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Influenza, Hepatitis B), TB screening, and facility-specific competency assessments.
