Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Night Shift
The facility's Labor & Delivery unit provides comprehensive care to obstetric and postpartum patients. You'll work in a dynamic environment managing patient assessments, labor support, delivery assistance, and postpartum recovery—collaborating closely with physicians, midwives, and other clinical staff to ensure safe, compassionate care.
Position Details
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (36 or 48 hours per week options)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 16, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care using the nursing process and critical thinking
- Supervise and direct assigned nursing staff
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education
- Maintain a safe, healing environment for patients and families
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in California
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required upon hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
