Labor and Delivery Nurse – 12-Hour Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Labor and Delivery nurse to join their maternal-child health unit. You'll provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a fast-paced acute setting.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekends as scheduled
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Start date: November 23, 2026

Clinical Scope

This is a Level 1 labor and delivery unit averaging 20 deliveries per month. You'll care for laboring women, support vaginal and cesarean deliveries, and provide initial care for newborns. You may also care for mothers and infants until they are stable for discharge or transfer.

Requirements

• Current, valid nursing license (RN)
• BLS certification (AHA)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• STABLE certification
• Valid, unexpired driver's license (50-mile radius requirement applies)
• Ability to work weekends

Two cancellations permitted per 13-week assignment.
