Night Shift PCU Nursing

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a compassionate nursing professional for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You'll provide skilled nursing care to patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and intervention, working collaboratively with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members.

Schedule & Contract

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (nights)
• Hours: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: December 7, 2026

Role Expectations

• Deliver direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, wound care, and patient education
• Monitor vital signs and patient status; respond promptly to changes in condition
• Manage central lines, chest tubes, and other intermediate-level devices as appropriate for your PCU
• Maintain accurate charting and communication with day-shift nursing
• Participate in unit initiatives and quality improvement efforts

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in Georgia
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• PCU or step-down unit experience preferred
• Proficiency with patient monitoring systems
