Med Surg Oncology Nurse
Assignment Details
- Shift: 12-hour days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Schedule: Weekends as scheduled
- Contract Length: 91 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Residency Requirement: Must reside within a 50-mile radius
Requirements
- Current BLS Certification
- NIHSS Certification
- Valid, unexpired driver's license
- Any licensing hits must be disclosed at time of submission
About the Role
You'll provide direct patient care on an acute medical-surgical oncology unit, supporting patients through cancer treatment and recovery. This role focuses on skilled nursing assessment, medication administration, symptom management, and patient education in an oncology setting.
What You'll Need
A compassionate approach to oncology nursing, strong clinical communication skills, and the ability to work independently within a team environment. BSN is not required.
