Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Greensburg, PA | 13-Week Contract

This cardiac and medical telemetry unit provides complex, high-acuity nursing care to adult patients with a wide range of cardiac and neurological diagnoses. The unit supports specialized procedures including TAVR, mitral and tricuspid clip procedures, and Watchman device cases, with dedicated procedural nursing support available on-site during the week.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 7p–7:30a (4x12-hour shifts)
• Every other holiday required
• Float within the facility and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius may be required

Patient Population & Clinical Scope

• Adult cardiac and medical telemetry patients

• Drips managed (no titration): Heparin, Bumex, Cardizem, Nitro, Amiodarone, Dopamine
• Hypoglycemic/insulin protocols in use; no insulin drips

Required Skills

• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, and non-invasive airway management
• Central line, PICC, and tracheostomy care
• Post-TPA, post-cardiac cath, post-MI, and TAVR care
• Pacemaker management, LVAD/RVAD familiarity, CVA/stroke protocols

Requirements

• Active PA or Compact RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA-issued only)
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry/cardiac RN experience
• Prior travel experience required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Two supervisor references preferred
