Medical-Surgical Telemetry – Night Shift
Position Overview
Join the facility's med-surg telemetry unit for a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). This is a 13-week contract assignment with guaranteed hours of 72 biweekly.
What You'll Do
Provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit with telemetry monitoring capabilities. You'll manage a patient population requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and post-operative care, working independently on the night shift with a collaborative nursing team.
Required Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts Medical Assistant (MA) license
- BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
- Minimum 2+ years of healthcare experience
- Demonstrated experience in travel and trauma hospital settings
- Similar acute-care hospital experience preferred
- Current flu vaccination required prior to start (no exemptions)
- Must have been separated from current facility for 6+ months or longer (permanent, per diem, or travel roles)
