Emergency Department Nurse

Position Overview

The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week contract. You'll work three 12-hour shifts per week (11a–11p) in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Requirements

• Current RN license (Georgia or compact state)
• ACLS and NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 18 months of emergency department experience within the past 3 years
• Willingness to work within a 50-mile radius

What to Expect

You'll provide direct patient care across the full spectrum of emergency presentations, from minor injuries to acute critical illness. This role demands strong assessment skills, quick decision-making, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week
• Guaranteed hours
• Start date: December 7, 2026
