Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN – Night Shift

Position Details

• Specialty: Medical-Surgical Telemetry
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Weekends and holidays expected
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of med-surg telemetry experience
• Current AHABLS certification
• ACLS (AHA) certification required
• Documented professional development activities
• Ability to pass telemetry competency exam

Pre-Assignment Testing

You will complete an ECG/telemetry and medications test via Zoom prior to your start date, within 48 hours of offer acceptance. This is a single-attempt assessment with an 85% passing score required. No remediation is available, so we recommend using the study guide provided to prepare thoroughly.

Clinical Scope

You'll provide care to telemetry patients on a medical-surgical unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing complex medication profiles. Charge nurse experience is preferred.

Expectations

• Willingness to float to similar units and overflow areas as needed
• Biweekly orientation schedule
• Must reside outside 50 miles from the facility
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application
