Medical-Surgical Nursing — 4×12 Nights
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) on a 4-day schedule with every other weekend included and no call obligations.
Shift & Schedule
- 4×12 night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
- Every other weekend rotation
- No on-call requirements
- 48 guaranteed hours per week
Scope & Flexibility
You may float to similar units on the same campus or to another campus within Wichita as needed. Ceil blue scrubs required.
Requirements
- Active nursing license (verification through Nursys required)
- Proficiency with electronic medical records
- BLS, ACLS, and EKG competency
- Immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap
- Tuberculosis screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Fit test and drug screening
- Professional references and background check
