Medical-Surgical Nursing Position

Position Details

• Specialty: Medical-Surgical Nursing
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (nights)
• Schedule: 4 x 12-hour shifts; every other weekend
• Call: No on-call requirement
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Start Date: November 22, 2026
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week

Scope & Expectations

You'll provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical setting, supporting patients across a range of diagnoses and acuity levels. You may float to similar units on the same campus or to other campuses within Wichita as needed.

Requirements

• Active RN or LPN license (Kansas)
• Current CPR certification
• Immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap
• 2-step PPD or IGRA (TB screening)
• Fit test and health statement clearance
• Willingness to complete facility-specific orientation and skills validation
