Medical-Surgical RN — Night Shift | Wichita, KS

This 13-week contract places you on a Medical-Surgical unit working nights in Wichita, KS. The position covers a 4x12 night schedule (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with every other weekend required and no call.

Contract Details

• Schedule: 4 x 12 nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed hours: 48 per week
• Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs

Clinical Scope

You'll be caring for a general medical-surgical patient population in an acute care setting. Candidates should be comfortable with standard med-surg acuity, EKG interpretation, and point-of-care glucose testing.

Float Requirement

Candidates must be prepared to float to similar units on the same campus or to another campus within the Wichita area.

• Active RN license (Nursys verification)
• License/Certificate verification

Immunizations & Health Requirements (at Onboarding)

• MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Influenza
• 2-Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/T-Spot)
• Fit test and health statement
• Color vision screening
• 11-panel drug screen

Onboarding Assessments

• Core competencies and EKG exam
• Unit-specific competency checklist
• Point-of-care glucose training

A valid driver's license or state ID and criminal background check are required prior to start.
