Medical-Surgical Nursing – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll provide direct patient care on a busy med-surg unit, managing a diverse patient population across the full scope of medical and surgical conditions.

Schedule & Shift Details

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (4 × 12 nights)
• Every other weekend — no call required
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week
• Start Date: November 22, 2026

Unit Expectations

You may be asked to float to like units on the same campus or another campus within Wichita. Come prepared to adapt and support patient care across multiple settings.

Requirements

• Current RN license (verification required at submission)
• Standard onboarding requirements: background check, immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Tdap, Varicella), TB screening, drug screen, and EKG exam
• Two professional references
• Fit test for PPE

What to Bring

Ceil blue scrubs and a willingness to work within the facility's EHR system.
