• Shift: 4 x 12 nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 22, 2026
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week

About the Role

This Medical-Surgical unit in Wichita, KS is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift travel contract. Nurses on this unit provide direct patient care across a general med-surg population, managing a range of acuities in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

Schedule & Float

• Every other weekend required
• No on-call obligations
• Candidates should be comfortable floating to comparable units on the same campus or at another campus within Wichita

Dress Code

• Ceil blue scrubs

Requirements

• Active RN license — must be verifiable through Nursys
• Current nursing skills checklist required at submission
• Two professional references required at submission
• EKG competency assessment required upon onboarding
• Standard health screenings required: MMR, Hepatitis B, varicella, Tdap, influenza, and TB testing (2-step PPD or IGRA)
• Background check, drug screen, and color vision assessment required upon onboarding

This is a straightforward med-surg night position well-suited for an adaptable RN comfortable with inpatient care and occasional floating within a multi-campus system.
