Medical-Surgical RN — Night Shift | Wichita, KS

This is a night-shift travel nursing opportunity on a Medical-Surgical unit in Wichita, KS. The position is filling a vacant permanent role, offering stability and consistent scheduling throughout the contract.

Shift & Schedule

• 4 × 12-hour nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No call required
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week

Unit Overview

You'll work on a med-surg unit providing care to a general acute-care patient population. Float coverage may be required to similar units on the same campus or at another campus within the Wichita area.

Required for Submission

• Active RN license (verified through Nursys)
• License/certificate verification
• Completed skills checklist
• Two professional references

Onboarding Requirements Include

• EKG competency exam
• Core competency assessment
• Color vision screening
• Point-of-care glucose testing proficiency (StatStrip)
• Standard immunizations: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Tdap
• TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
• Fit test
• Background check and drug screen (11-panel)
• Education and employment verification

Candidates must hold a current, active RN license eligible for verification through Nursys prior to submission.
