Medical-Surgical Nurse — Wichita, KS | Night Shift | 13-Week Contract

This Med-Surg travel opportunity is based in Wichita, KS, on a unit that manages a general medical-surgical patient population. Candidates should be comfortable with a broad range of acuity levels and prepared to float to similar units on the same campus or at another campus within the Wichita area.

Schedule & Pay

• 4 x 12-hour night shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required; no call
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks | Estimated start: November 2026

Dress Code

• Ceil blue scrubs

Required Credentials (for submission)

• Active RN license (Nursys verification)
• Skills checklist
• Two professional references

Onboarding Requirements

• Core competency assessment
• EKG exam
• Point-of-care glucose testing competency
• Charting system test-out
• Standard immunization and health documentation: MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
• Fit test, health statement, background check, drug screen (11-panel), and EPLS check
• Education and employment verification

• Comfortable in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment
• Flexible to float to comparable units within the same health system
• Strong EKG interpretation skills preferred
