Shift: 4 x 12 Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week
About the Role
This Med-Surg position is on a general medical-surgical unit providing care to a diverse adult patient population. The unit manages a range of acute care diagnoses requiring skilled nursing assessment, medication administration, wound care, and patient education.
Schedule & Float
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call obligation
- Candidates should be comfortable floating to comparable units within the same campus or to another campus within the Wichita area
Dress Code: Ceil blue scrubs
Requirements
- Active RN license (Nursys verification required at submission)
- Current certifications and skills checklist required at submission
- EKG competency assessment required during onboarding
- Color vision assessment required during onboarding
- Standard immunization documentation required (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza, TB screening)
- Fit test, health statement, background check, drug screen, and employment/education verification required prior to start
- Two professional references required at submission
