Med Surg Tele

Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Latrobe, PA

This 13-week travel contract places you in a medical-surgical telemetry unit caring for adult patients with a broad range of diagnoses requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. The unit is supported by an interdisciplinary team that includes IV therapy, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response, and social services.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Float to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius may be required

Patient Population & Clinical Scope

• Adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Continuous telemetry monitoring

Required Certifications (AHA only)

• ACLS
• BLS
• NIHSS

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 2 years of RN experience; MS/Tele background required
• Active Pennsylvania or Compact RN license at time of submission
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Two supervisor references preferred
• Former permanent employees of this system must have been separated for at least 2 years before applying as a traveler

Additional Details

• Scrub color: Navy blue
• Orientation: 12 hours (first 8 hours non-billable); approximately 1 hour of pre-start modules required prior to first day
• Drug screen, labs, fingerprinting, and demographic sheet must be completed within 48 hours of signing
• All compliance must be cleared by the Wednesday before your start date
