ICU Travel Nurse – Night Shift | Greensburg, PA

13-Week Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

This is a high-acuity ICU role caring for adult and geriatric patients with complex, multisystem conditions. The unit manages a broad scope of critical care, with strong cardiovascular and neurological complexity.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Weekend coverage required every other week
• Every other holiday required
• Float within the hospital and potentially to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius

Clinical Scope

Candidates should be proficient in:

• Arterial line, central line, and PICC line management
• Ventilator and BiPAP/CPAP management
• Titration of vasoactive and cardiac drips
• Blood product administration and IV insulin protocols
• Management of dysrhythmias and interpretation of ABGs
• Chest tube assistance, tracheostomy care, and procedural sedation
• Pulmonary artery/Swan-Ganz monitoring
• CVA/acute stroke management

Required Certifications

• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (AHA-issued only; must be current at submission)

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Active Pennsylvania or Compact RN license required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Charting system experience preferred
• Two supervisor references preferred

• COVID-19: Not required
• Flu: Required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Scrubs: Navy

Orientation: 12 hours on-site; approximately 1 hour of pre-start modules required (must be completed before first day)
