Stepdown RN – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its stepdown unit. You'll care for patients transitioning from acute care, providing skilled nursing in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Shift & Schedule
- 3x12-hour rotating shifts (Day: 07:00–19:30 | Night: 19:00–07:30)
- Shifts may rotate as needed to meet operational demands
- Must work at least every other holiday
- 13-week contract
Clinical Scope
You may float to other units caring for similar patient populations. You'll perform ECG rhythm recognition and complete SafeMedicate assessment during orientation—both must be passed on your first or second attempt to remain in the position.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months permanent experience in stepdown nursing
- Active RN license (Ohio or Compact State) in hand at time of submission
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- One professional reference (manager, supervisor, or director) from work in the past 12 months
