Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN – 12-Hour Night Shift
Assignment Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Med-Surg Telemetry RN for a 13-week contract. You'll work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with weekends and holidays as part of the regular schedule. This role includes the potential to float to like units and overflow areas as needed.
Requirements
- Current RN license
- Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg Telemetry experience
- Current AHABLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to pass a Telemetry Competency Exam
- Pass ECG/Telemetry and Medications Tests during onboarding (one attempt only; 85% passing score)
- Documented professional development activities
- Knowledge of Critical Paths
Charge Nurse experience is preferred.
Key Details
- Contract Guarantee: 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)
- Orientation: Biweekly schedule
- Pre-Assignment Testing: ECG, Telemetry, and Medications Tests administered via Zoom within 48 hours of offer. Study materials will be provided; no remediation or re-testing available.
- Eligibility: Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. Candidates who have worked for the facility as travel, permanent, or per diem staff within the past six months must wait until the six-month separation period has passed.
- RTO Requests: Must be submitted at time of application
- Interview: Provide availability at submission; hiring manager will conduct interviews
