RN – Medical/Surgical Telemetry – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an RN for a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) on a general medical/surgical telemetry unit. This is a 13-week contract with guaranteed hours of 72 per week.

Unit Description

You'll work on a medical/surgical telemetry unit caring for adult and geriatric patients with acute conditions and multiple comorbidities. The role requires strong time management, effective communication, and the ability to provide safe, compassionate care in a dynamic clinical environment.

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts RN License (required at time of submission)
• Current telemetry experience
• Medical/surgical nursing experience preferred
• AHABLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency with electronic health records

Pre-Acceptance Testing

Candidates must pass ECG/telemetry and medication knowledge assessments prior to acceptance. Testing is completed via proctored online session and must be scheduled within 48 hours of a tentative offer.

Important Notes

• No float required
• Biweekly orientation
• Not available to local travelers (cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility)
• Candidates who worked at the facility as permanent or per diem staff within the last six months must have a six-month separation before applying
• All time-off requests must be submitted at time of application
• Start date: November 16, 2026 (minimum 4 weeks out from submission)
