Travel RN – Pediatric Cardiac ICU (CVPICU)
Denver, CO | 4 x 12-Hour Days (07:00–19:00) | 13-Week Contract
This Pediatric Cardiac ICU cares for a complex congenital heart population, including medical neonates and post-operative cardiac patients. The unit functions in close collaboration with the PICU, providing extensive peer support and resources throughout every shift.
Clinical Scope
- Post-operative cardiac care including inotropic and vasopressor infusions, IVF management, and chest tube management
- Care of post-sternotomy and open-chest patients
- Moderate sedation
- ECMO support (unit serves as an ECMO center)
Schedule & Structure
- Day shift: 07:00–19:00
- Weekend commitment: 4 shifts per 4-week schedule
- 48-hour weekly guarantee
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Critical Care experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Peritoneal dialysis and CRRT experience
- ECMO bedside experience
