Operating Room Nurse
Location: Kansas City, MO
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
About the Role
Join the operating room team at the facility, where you'll support a diverse surgical program across multiple specialties. This is a fast-paced environment serving patients undergoing cardiac, trauma, orthopedic, neurosurgical, urologic, and gynecologic procedures. You'll also work with robotic-assisted surgical systems.
What You'll Do
- Provide perioperative nursing care in a collaborative OR setting
- Support surgical teams across a range of high-acuity cases
- Work alongside dedicated unit secretaries and surgical technologists
- Maintain compliance with facility protocols and documentation standards
What We're Looking For
- Current RN license (state-specific)
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Strong OR experience with advanced clinical skills
- Ability to adapt to multiple surgical specialties and procedures
- Professional communication and teamwork in a dynamic environment
Schedule & Expectations
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- No floating required
- 36 guaranteed hours per week over 13 weeks
