Progressive Care Unit – 12-Hour Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced nurse for its progressive care unit (PCU) on the night shift. This is a 13-week contract assignment.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 72 guaranteed hours biweekly
- No float requirement
- No on-call obligations
Requirements
- Valid MA nursing license
- BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
- Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience
- Prior travel and trauma hospital experience required
- Similar hospital setting experience
- Flu vaccine required prior to start (no exemptions)
- Must have been separated from previous assignment for 6+ months
- All time off must be submitted at time of application
- Non-local candidates only
About the Role
You'll provide direct patient care in a progressive care environment, managing patients with moderate to high acuity needs. This unit serves patients transitioning from ICU-level care or requiring close monitoring and frequent interventions.
