Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Telemetry
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an RN for a 12-hour night shift (7 PM – 7:30 AM) on a general medical/surgical telemetry unit. This is a 13-week contract with guaranteed 72 hours biweekly.
Unit Details
You'll provide care to adult and geriatric patients with acute conditions and multiple comorbidities. The unit focuses on medical and surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring. Strong time management and clear communication are essential in this fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts RN License (required at time of application)
- Current telemetry experience
- Medical/surgical nursing experience preferred
- Current AHABLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency with electronic health records systems
Important Notes
- No local travelers accepted (must reside more than 50 miles from the facility)
- Applicants who worked at this facility as permanent or per diem staff within the past six months are ineligible
- Pass/fail testing required: ECG/telemetry and medication assessments (one-time proctor session via Zoom, scheduled within 48 hours of offer)
- All time-off requests must be submitted with your application
- Biweekly orientation provided
- No float requirement
