Pediatric Emergency Department RN — Evening Shift

This position is within a fast-paced Pediatric Emergency Department serving a diverse patient population across a range of acuity levels. The unit manages high patient volumes, and candidates must be comfortable working in a dynamic, rapid-cycle environment.

Shift Details

• 12-hour evening shifts, 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Minimum 3 shifts per week | 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Start date: November 16, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Pediatric ED experience required
• Comfortable with higher-volume nurse-to-patient ratios
• Proficient in reading cardiac monitor strips
• experience preferred
• Active New York RN license required
• BSN not required

Required Certifications

• ACLS
• BLS
• NIHSS
• PALS
• TNCC

Additional Details

• Local candidates accepted; must be able to commit exclusively to this position while on contract
• No call-off policy; 14-day written notice required for cancellation
