RN – Progressive Care Unit
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You'll provide specialized nursing care to post-surgical and medically complex patients transitioning from acute or critical care settings, working closely with an interdisciplinary team to support optimal patient recovery.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
- 30-minute meal break per shift
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor post-surgical and medically complex patients
- Administer treatments and evaluate patient conditions
- Coordinate with physicians, specialists, and care team members
- Deliver patient-centered care in a collaborative environment
Requirements
- Valid RN license (Georgia)
- Proven experience in PCU or intermediate care settings
- Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
