Clinical Scope

Expect care for traumatic injuries (gunshot wounds, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic trauma), stroke and CVA management, cardiac dysrhythmias, and complex emergency presentations. You'll manage arterial lines, central lines, continuous IV sedation, blood product administration, and ventilated patients. Strong assessment skills including dysrhythmia interpretation and ABG analysis are essential.
