MRI Technologist | Des Moines, IA | 13-Week Contract
This is a daytime MRI Technologist position supporting a multi-campus health system in Des Moines, Iowa. The role involves imaging for a varied patient mix including emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient populations.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | 40 hours/week
- On-call: one weeknight (Sunday–Thursday) and one weekend (Friday/Saturday) every 10th weekend
- Holiday rotation required
Clinical Scope
- MRI scanning across a high-volume, multi-campus environment
- Patient populations include ED, inpatient, and outpatient
- Power injection and contrast administration
Float Requirement
Travelers may be required to float across multiple campus locations within the system.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 24 months of current MRI/Magnetic Resonance Imaging experience
- Strong proficiency with both GE MRI equipment
- ARMRIT or ARRT (R)(MR) certification
- Current or recent hospital experience
- MRI-specific skills checklist
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Travel experience
- Level II trauma experience (required); Level I preferred
- Radiology information system experience
