Cath Lab Technologist – 8-Hour Day Shift
Position Overview
The facility's cardiac catheterization laboratory seeks an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to support a multidisciplinary team performing invasive diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures. This is a full-time, 13-week contract position with no on-call or weekend obligations.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm (8-hour shifts)
- Occasional overtime may be required to complete procedures
- Possible assignment to a sister facility on days with no scheduled cases at the primary location
Clinical Scope
You'll perform scrub and monitoring duties for structural heart interventions, diagnostic and therapeutic coronary and peripheral procedures. Responsibilities include operating catheterization and radiology imaging equipment per protocol, managing equipment during procedures, and maintaining flexibility as priorities shift throughout the day.
Required Qualifications
- RCIS or RAD certification
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Bachelor's degree (BA, BS, BSN, AA) or equivalent professional experience
- Ability to scrub and pan peripheral and diagnostic studies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Commitment to patient confidentiality
Experience in other cardiac specialties is a plus.
