CT Technologist — Radiology (CT) | Bryan, TX

12-Week Contract | 36 hours/week rotating

This CT Tech role is based in an acute care radiology department performing a high volume of CT studies across emergency and inpatient settings. The position offers consistent scheduling with rotating shift flexibility.

Schedule

• Wednesday/Thursday: 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Every other Friday/Saturday/Sunday (rotating)
• Call rotation every 6th week; 30-minute response time required
• Guaranteed 36/48 hours rotating per two-week period

Clinical Scope

• CT studies with and without contrast
• Average 16–24 scans per day
• IV placement required
• ER and inpatient experience expected
• Radiation dosimetry badge provided by the department

Float

• May float between two campuses approximately 16 minutes apart, as needed

Call Details

• Back-up call only; staff always in house
• Call rotation varies based on off-week schedule (weekday or weekend)
• Weekday call: 5 PM – 6 AM; Weekend call extends through Saturday and Sunday mornings

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) certification
• BLS (AHA)
• Texas MRT license
• ER and inpatient CT experience
• Ability to start IVs

Additional Details

• Scrubs: Black (not provided)
• Weekends: Every other weekend
• Holidays: Occasional, rotating with permanent staff
• May be asked to precept as needed
• Attendance reliability is critical; call-outs are strongly discouraged
