CVOR Registered Nurse | Day Shift | Amarillo, TX | 13-Week Contract
This travel opportunity places you in an active cardiovascular OR performing a high volume of complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures. Typical cases include coronary artery bypass grafts, valve replacements, carotid endarterectomies, and aortic abdominal aneurysm repairs.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 0700–1530
- CV call coverage: Friday 1530 – Monday 0700 (typically 1–2 weekends per month)
- Holiday availability required
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
- BSN highly desired
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact eligibility)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Minimum 3 years of CVOR experience required
- Candidates with at least 1 year of OR experience with both scrubbing and circulating will be considered
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
Clinical Scope
You will provide patient-centered perioperative care across the full spectrum of open cardiovascular surgery. Responsibilities include scrubbing and/or circulating on cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases, supporting the surgical team, and upholding safety and quality standards throughout all phases of care.
Contract Details
- Shift: 8-hour days
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
