About the Role
You'll join the facility's PCU team, providing care to patients requiring close monitoring and intermediate-level intervention. This unit manages step-down and progressive care patients, including those recovering from acute illness or recent procedures.
What You'll Do
- Deliver direct patient care in a monitored, intermediate-acuity environment
- Collaborate with an interprofessional team including physicians, respiratory therapists, and other clinical staff
- Manage patient assessments, medications, and treatments
- Support patients and families through their recovery
Requirements
- Current RN license (North Carolina)
- PCU experience preferred
- Ability to work independently on night shifts
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
This is a straightforward contract assignment offering consistent hours and the opportunity to work with a stable team in an intermediate-care setting.
