Neuro ICU RN — Travel Contract | Morgantown, WV

12-Hour Nights | 13-Week Contract | Start Date: October 31, 2026

This travel RN position is in a Neuro ICU caring for high-acuity patients with stroke, intracranial hemorrhage, EVD/ventriculostomy management, dialysis needs, and complex neurological disorders requiring critical care intervention.

Shift & Scheduling

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour nights
• 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Preference and block scheduling available
• 3 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) plus 1 Friday and 1 Monday required per 4-week schedule
• Holiday coverage assigned as needed
• Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract

Unit Environment

• Free charge nurse (not included in staffing ratios)
• Intensivist on-site during the day; on-call overnight with 24/7 APP coverage
• Respiratory therapy present in the ICU around the clock
• Ventilator management, BiPAP, high-flow oxygen, and nasal cannula in use
• Telemetry monitored remotely by techs on a separate floor

Drip Titration Required

Levophed, phenylephrine, Versed, paralytics, heparin, insulin, nicardipine, and vasopressors.

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS

Qualifications

• Prior ICU or critical care nursing experience required
• COVID vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Active RN license (facility willing to wait for licensure)
• BSN not required
