This Resource Pool position covers a range of Medical-Surgical, Stepdown, and Telemetry units within an acute care facility in Morgantown, WV. Nurses in this role float across units based on census and staffing needs, so strong adaptability and a well-rounded clinical background are essential.
Shift Details
- 12-hour day shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Weekend schedule: Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday
- Holidays as scheduled
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
Contract
- 13 weeks | Start date: October 31, 2026

- Medical-Surgical (Stepdown & Floor)
- Stepdown/Floor
- Long-term antibiotic infusion
- Trauma & General Surgery Inpatient
- Neuro Stepdown & Epilepsy Monitoring
- Surgical Oncology / Medical Oncology Stepdown
Clinical Requirements
- Strong proficiency across Stepdown, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, General Medicine, and Oncology
- Trauma experience preferred; travel nursing experience highly desirable
- Charting experience required (equivalent to a major acute care EMR)
Certifications
- AHA BLS (required)
- AHA ACLS (required)
Additional Details
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Active RN license required prior to submission
- Candidate's home address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
