Registered Nurse – Cardiothoracic Operating Room

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its cardiothoracic operating room. You will support complex surgical cases in a fast-paced environment, working alongside surgeons and surgical teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Schedule & Contract

• 4 × 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours)
• Day shift
• Call responsibilities required
• 13-week contract with guaranteed hours
• 50-mile local radius

Requirements

• Current BLS certification (BLSGA or Compact License)
• National Certification in Surgical Technology (ST-OR) or Cardiovascular OR Nursing (CV-OR)
• Demonstrated experience with da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery
• RN license (OR or CV-OR specialty preferred)

What You'll Do

You'll assist with cardiothoracic surgical procedures, manage instrumentation and equipment, coordinate with the surgical team, and ensure optimal patient safety and surgical flow. Experience with minimally invasive techniques and robotic platforms is essential for this role.
