Dialysis Registered Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Dialysis RN to join the hemodialysis unit. You'll deliver direct patient care in a focused clinical setting, managing treatment for patients with End-Stage Renal Disease and Acute Kidney Injuries.
Schedule & Commitment
- 36 hours per week over three 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Monday through Saturday availability required, with every Saturday coverage expected
- On-call shifts required; Sunday through Saturday rotation
- Flexible combination of 12 and 8-hour shifts available to meet weekly hours
- 13-week contract
- Holiday rotation includes Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day
Clinical Details
You'll work in a dialysis unit with approximately 20 patients per day and a team of 6-7 nurses plus attending physicians. The unit manages both chronic and acute dialysis cases.
Requirements
- Current BLS (AHA) certification
- Must have dialysis experience with strong bedside skills
- Pediatric experience preferred
- First-to-float for unit needs
