Operating Room Nurse – Day Shift

Shift & Schedule

• 4 days per week, 10-hour day shift (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Weekend and on-call coverage as needed based on departmental needs
• 13-week contract
• No floating to other units

About the Role

The facility's operating room manages a full range of surgical specialties including trauma, general surgery, robotic procedures, orthopedic, vascular, cardiac, thoracic, bariatric, gynecology, urology, ENT, neurosurgery, and transplant cases. You will scrub and circulate across multiple service lines in a high-acuity surgical environment.

Required Qualifications

• Current PA state license or compact license
• Minimum 2 years operating room experience with Level I Trauma experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency in scrubbing and circulating
• Valid references and current certifications required at submission

What You'll Do

• Scrub and circulate for diverse surgical procedures across multiple specialties
• Support high-acuity trauma cases in a dedicated trauma OR
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia, respiratory services, and perioperative teams
• Maintain strict infection control and safety protocols
• Participate in 12 hours of orientation
