CT Technologist — Travel Contract | Burlington, NC

This 13-week contract places a skilled CT Technologist in a fast-paced imaging department serving a broad patient population spanning neonates through geriatrics. The role demands strong independent practice and proficiency across a wide range of CT procedures.

Schedule

• Days: Wednesday – Friday
• Hours: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (3×12-hour shifts)
• No call required

Clinical Scope

You will perform high-volume CT imaging across multiple modalities and acuity levels, including:

• Head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, cervical, thoracic, and lumbar studies (with and without contrast)
• Vascular CTA, brain perfusion, and CT arthrography
• Myelography and musculoskeletal trauma imaging
• Aspirations, biopsies, and drainage procedures
• Emergency Department support
• Contrast preparation and administration; peripheral IV insertion

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS required
• Active, in-hand license at time of submission
• Must be able to work independently
• Floating to additional campus locations may be required

Compliance Notes

• No candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility
• Requested time off must be submitted with the application; no post-submission RTO accepted
• Background check: no open cases permitted
