Medical-Surgical Nurse

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) with guaranteed hours.

About the Role

You'll provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical unit, managing a diverse patient population across general medicine and surgery specialties. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, post-operative monitoring, and patient education. You'll collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver quality, compassionate care.

Requirements

• Current RN license (Georgia)
• BLS certification required
• Medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility and strong communication skills
