RN – Medical/Surgical | Night Shift | Austin, TX

13-Week Contract | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

This 4 North Medical/Surgical unit cares for a diverse patient population with a focus on post-surgical recovery, kidney transplant patients, dialysis patients, and complex diabetic cases. The unit is a recognized award recipient and maintains a collaborative, team-oriented culture across all shifts.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• At least every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Medical/Surgical experience
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with transplant, dialysis, or diabetic patient populations
• ACLS certification

Clinical Scope

• Post-surgical patient management
• Kidney transplant care
• Dialysis and diabetic patient management
• Collaboration with charge nurses and Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
