Travel RN – Medical/Surgical | Georgetown, TX
13-Week Contract | Day Shift | 36 Guaranteed Hours/Week
This Medical/Surgical unit provides care for a diverse patient population, including post-operative patients recovering from orthopedic procedures such as hip and knee replacements, as well as abdominal surgeries including colectomy. The unit operates at a moderate-to-high volume and values clinicians who are adaptable and collaborative.
Shift Details
- Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Weekend rotation required
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Required Certifications
- BLS
- NIHSS
Preferred Certifications & Skills
- ACLS
- Cardiac rhythm interpretation
What to Expect
- Post-surgical and general medical patient population
- Common procedures: hip/knee replacement recovery, colectomy post-op care
- Collaborative team environment with RNs and patient care technicians on both day and night shifts
Dress Code
- Navy scrubs required

- Permanent positions may be available for strong performers at the conclusion of the contract
- Ideal candidate is flexible, team-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced med/surg setting
