Emergency Department RN — Night Shift | Houston, TX

This travel RN opportunity places you in a fast-paced Emergency Department on a night shift schedule (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). The contract runs 13 weeks with a guaranteed 36 hours per week and an anticipated start date of September 14, 2026.

Unit Overview

The ED manages a broad range of acute and emergent presentations. Nurses perform and assist with procedures including intubation and central line placement, and the unit regularly cares for patients requiring emergency response interventions. The multidisciplinary team includes RNs, a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, nurses, medics, and ultrasound technicians on both shifts.

Schedule & Logistics

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends required
• No floating required
• Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS or ENPC

Preferred

• TNCC certification

Ideal Candidate

• Prior emergency department experience is required
• Demonstrated emergency response competency
• Strong team player with a flexible, adaptable approach to a dynamic environment
